Chances are you got started in photography when someone gave you a piece of hand-me-down equipment. For me I started with an old 110mm Kodak. But once my dad gave me his old circa 1976 Canon AE-1 camera with a few lenses, I was hooked.
David duChemin has a great post today about passing along that experience to someone else. We are who we are because of these people and that small gift they gave us. What better way to thank them than to give another person that same gift.
